Mike was in a band with Nikhil at school, even back in those good old days he was happy to take the rhythm duties, considering it part of his mission to reign in some of Nikhil's greater solo excesses. He's been playing the guitar since he was 17, starting with an old acoustic that was older than he was and moving on to a Japanese Squier Strat when his part time job at Safeway stared pumping money into his bank account faster than he could spend it on cheap cider.
