Rob has played drums from the age of 11. He also plays guitar, bass and spends a lot of time recording and programming music. He has been in lots of bands from schoolboy metal, through to his shoegazing teenage years, a brief spell with intelligent rock, funk, techno, brit pop and a stint in a live drum and bass act. He has also done the odd bit of session work for the various DJs and producers. Now writing and playing riff-tastic rock with Sonic Undermind keeps him going.
Rob can be heard singing the lead vocals in the studio recording of Rock Cliche although now he is much happier just screaming backing vocals every now and then. Rob remixed Rock Cliche in to a kicking d'n'b tune under the pseudonym of Protein.
He divides his time between Sonic Undermind, his girlfriend, his cats and his Kung Fu training
